How Abortion Can Impact the 2024 U.S. Elections

I haven't written professionally in a while, but when an old client asked me to write a blog on how abortion would impact the U.S. elections, I couldn't say no.

What people should know is that abortion restrictions- as vile as they are- will not automatically turn voters out for Democrats. That is, the impact of such restrictions is uncertain and far from determined.

Much of the talk about how abortion and other issues will result in a landslide for Democrats scares me, and reminds me of 2016 when we all assumed voters would reject Trump in favor of Clinton. We should now know from U.S. political history that what some voters find disgusting others find galvanizing (polarization).
